The Jug and Bottle has always been a warm and inviting pub which attracts many locals and visitors alike with its unique and welcoming atmosphere. The pub itself has recently undertaken a refurbishment to transform the bar into a traditional charming and charismatic country-style inn. The pub maintains its cosy and friendly atmosphere creating a homely surround to all those who pass through our doors. Our intimate and relaxing bar is the perfect setting to unwind after a long day, dine on our fine cuisine and share the triumphs and tribulations of your week.

Enjoy a Drink with Us

We serve great cask conditioned ales along with seasonal guest beers and a fine choice of excellent lagers. Our team are on hand to not only pour you the perfect pint but for any help that you may need, so if you aren’t sure which ale to try then please just ask they will be more than happy to advise you and let you try. For years the Jug has been the local pub to go for a drink to catch up with friends and family, and to reunite with old friends and flames…it has always had a sense of home to its regulars. With new manager Steve at the helm, he wants to continue the tradition of the Jug for many years to come.

Our new homemade menu is the perfect treat for a spot of lunch or evening meal. Offering a wide selection of both smaller and more hearty meals then whatever the occasion, the Jug is sure to fit.
