The Christmas preparations have officially begun! With many people breaking up today for 2 weeks its time to get into the festive spirit! We are happy to welcome Steve Guile to the team at The Jug and Bottle who has come on board as the new manager. He is a local man, born in Heswall who has spent the last 11 years growing his career at The Wheatsheaf Inn in Raby. The Jug has always been the pub in the heart of Heswall and together with Steve’s energy and enthusiasm we feel that it is time to bring tradition and charm back to Heswall.
The pub will be open every day from 12.00pm as on Tuesday 4th December for drinks, hot beverages and bar snacks.
Steve looks forward to meeting you all very soon.
Join us this St. Paddy’s day for LIVE Six Nations rugby at 5.00pm between England and Ireland, followed by LIVE music at 9.00pm from “Out of Order” along with a number of drinks promotions…not to be missed!

To celerate that summer has arrived we would like to offer our loyal friends and customers 50% off their bill EVERY FRIDAY throughout June (3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th).
To get your discount you simply need to sign up to our mailing list on the left of the screen and we will send you voer the voucher. Simply print out a copy of the voucher or if you have a smart phone, just bring up the voucher on your screen and show it to your server and the 50% will be redeemed off your food bill.
Terms and conditions
One voucher is needed per table. Offer expires 30/6/11. Maximum number of 6 people per table when using the voucher. The voucher may not be used in conjunction with any other discount or offer. 50% is redeemable off your food bill only, drinks are charged at the standard rate. We are now offering a tapas bar menu that is served Tuesday to Saturday 5.30pm to 9pm. Dont feel like you have to sit in the restaurant to enjoy our authentic spanish tapas, you can now pick out your favourites and enjoy them in our bar. Tapas is the perfect food to share with friends.
Next time you are coming in to watch the rugby or the football and fancy a snack but don’t want to miss out on the action, just ask one of the bar staff to see a menu and you can order your tapas straight into the bar…..perfect!
