We are currently seeking a SOUS CHEF to assist in heading up our kitchen, to help create, prepare and cook a menu of homemade freshly prepared British dishes. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working and reliable person to run and help put together our kitchen operation. We are passionate about food and prepare everything in house to a high standard using fresh ingredients and local produce. Our menus reflect this and change regularly. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Sous Chef looking for a progressive and challenging role.
As Sous Chef you will work closely with the Head Chef and other chefs in all sections of the kitchen. The Sous Chef will manage the kitchen in the head chef’s absence and will have input in to the designing and planning or our continually evolving dishes and menu. Experience for the role would be vital, competitive salary plus a contributory pension scheme.
You will be a team player and have a passion for working in the industry. You will be ambitious and want to improve yourself and the company. There is nothing better on a Sunday afternoon than a delicious roast dinner! Choose from delicious Wirral beef, Cheshire chicken or ???? lamb served in the traditional way with all the trimmings. And go on, treat yourself to one of our delicious homemade puddings such as our “Jug’s sticky toffee pudding with treacle toffee sauce, honeycomb ice cream” .
Our normal menu is also served alongside our roasts if they don’t quite take your fancy this weekend!
