Welcome to the Jug and Bottle Hotel. We are centrally located in Heswall on the Wirral Peninsula. With its secluded surroundings ‘The Jug’ as it is affectionately known by the locals offers a retreat on the doorstep of Chester and Liverpool and is only a stone’s throw from the M53 and M56. The Jug & Bottle provides good value ensuite accommodation, with excellent modern clean rooms at budget prices. Our rooms enjoy views to both sides of the Wirral Peninsula, to Liverpool with its distinctive skyline, two cathedrals and also over the Dee Estuary to the hills of North Wales. We offer a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with a popular public bar.

We also have our popular Spanish Tapas restaurant 'Tapa Vista' which has been open for over 2 years now and is a huge success with our regular diners and hotel guests. Serving a wide selection of delicious traditional tapas dishes alongside a fine selection of world wines an evening at Tapa Vista is the perfect dining experience.
